Terms

The small print, kept small.

Hexile is a personal site. Using it means accepting these few terms; what happens to your data is on the privacy page.

What this is

Not a company, not a product. A hobby with a domain name.

A personal, non-commercial site, run by one person in Norway. Accounts exist by invitation only. Anything here may change, pause or disappear, without notice.

Tools and models

Prospekt reads; it doesn't advise.

Fyr and the tools are free to use, as they are. There's no promise that they're always up, or always right. Many run entirely in your browser, and where they do, the page says so. For anything that can't take a mistake, check with something you'd trust with it.

Hugin and Prospekt use language models, which can be wrong, and confidently so. A Prospekt report is a reading aid: not an estate agent, not a surveyor, not a lawyer. Read the documents themselves, and ask a professional before deciding anything that matters.

Play fair

Don't overload the site, get around its limits, probe it for weaknesses without asking, or use it to harm anyone. Limits and blocks kick in on their own.

Found a security hole? Say so. That's always welcome.

Shared links

A shared file or Prospekt report is published by whoever shared it, and it's theirs to answer for. If something shared here shouldn't be, report it, and it comes down.

If something goes wrong

As far as Norwegian law allows, Hexile isn't liable for losses from using it, or from relying on what it shows. Nothing here limits the rights you have by law. Norwegian law applies, with Trøndelag tingrett as the court of first instance.

In short: use it at your own risk, and your rights still stand.
